Liverpool have reportedly agreed to terms with Croatia and Internazionale midfielder Mateo Kovacic ahead of a summer transfer.
The Reds were already linked to the Croatian a few weeks ago as news emerged of a meeting with il Biscione's director Piero Ausilio.
Now the Croatian publication Vecernij List is running the line that Kovacic already has an agreement with Liverpool for a transfer.
The 21-year-old has already settled on personal terms, but a fee has yet to be agreed upon between the two clubs. It’s noted that Reds boss Brendan Rodgers will “pay whatever it takes” to bring the midfield talent to Merseyside and the Serie A side are hoping for £20 million.
No details have been released on the terms of the agreement, though Inter are believed to value Kovacic at around €24m.
